I cannot stand for more than 45 minutes at a time, which can be crippling on a sightseeing vacation. This little stool folds flat and fits nicely in my backpack. It's a bit heavy, but needs to be in order to have strong enough metal to hold a person. I weigh 200 pounds and it holds me nicely. It could be a bit higher, but then wouldn't fit in the backpack.
