The stool itself is pretty sturdy. I weigh 160lbs, but I've had friends over 200lbs sit on it without a problem. It's easy to use and portable. The problem I have with it is the screws that are used do keep the legs in place are too short. They fall out easily and will need to be replaced with longer screws. It'll still work without the screws, it's just more of a pain to set it up since one leg keeps moving on me. Overall, not a bad product, but there are probably better quality products out there for around the same price.

Backpack / Stool Combination. Steel frame stool (17" x 10" x 5") changes to backpack with Rubberized lining (18" x 13" x 9"). Pack is made of 440 Denier nylon. 3 external pockets. Adjustable shoulder straps. Great for day trips, fishing, camping and so much more.

I expected this bag to be made of better material than the thin "plastic" that it is! I thought it would some kind of canvas material like my other stool/backpack. I'm keeping it mostly for show because it looks nice and matches some other stuff I have but I'm afraid to load anything heavy in it, unfortunately. That almost defeats the purpose of having a backpack but the stool is functional so that's the only reason I'm giving it two stars.

This review is from: Mossy Oak Deluxe Hunt Stool with Back (Break-Up) (Sports)
The stool is very sturdy with steel legs and supports. The break-up material is also very heavy. Folds compactly and easy to carry with cloth strap. It weighted more than my old stool but I don't think this new one will wear out anytime soon.

I use this as a roller derby referee. It fits in my skate bag perfectly and people are jealous when I pull it out cause I don't have to sit on the ground :) It's kinda wobbly but it does the trick and I'm 185lb so ya know..it's holds it's own.

I cannot stand for more than 45 minutes at a time, which can be crippling on a sightseeing vacation. This little stool folds flat and fits nicely in my backpack. It's a bit heavy, but needs to be in order to have strong enough metal to hold a person. I weigh 200 pounds and it holds me nicely. It could be a bit higher, but then wouldn't fit in the backpack. All in all, a darned good gadget.
